Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information, and how you can access it or make a complaint. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Who we are

Ring 24/7 is an AI communication service — an AI voice receptionist, website chat agent, appointment booking and SMS follow-ups — operated by the Ring 24/7 team, based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. You can reach us any time at rink247.au@gmail.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers information about visitors to this website and people who enquire with us. If you become a paying customer, the personal information your AI handles about your customers (callers and chat visitors) is also covered by the service agreement between us, under which you are the controller of that data and we act as your processor.

3. Information we collect

4. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data — or your customers' conversations — to train any third party's AI models.

5. Cookies & analytics

This website uses only the cookies needed for it to function and to remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Some embedded tools (our form and scheduling providers) may set their own functional cookies when you interact with them. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). IP addresses are anonymised and we do not use this data for advertising. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run Ring 24/7, and only as far as each needs to do its job. These may include:

We may also disclose information where required by law. We do not otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties.

7. Overseas disclosure

Some of our providers store or process data outside Australia (for example, in the United States or the European Union). Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. By using the service you acknowledge that your information may be processed overseas.

8. Data security

Conversations — voice and chat — are protected with bank-level encryption from end to end, and access is role-based and logged. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work to industry-standard practices. Call recording is optional and consent-aware, configured to match the recording-consent rules of your state.

9. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for reasonable record-keeping. For customers, retention periods for recordings, transcripts and contact data are configurable and set out in your service agreement; you can request earlier deletion. We delete or de-identify personal information when it is no longer needed, unless we are required to keep it by law.

10. Your rights

You may ask us to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, export it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. To make a request, email rink247.au@gmail.com — we will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first. (If you are in a region covered by the GDPR, you may have additional rights, including to object to or restrict certain processing.)

11. Data breaches

If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will assess it and notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

12. Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first at rink247.au@gmail.com and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

13. Children

This website and service are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed; material changes will be highlighted where practical.
